Tuesday, July 20, 2010 06:28
-
Early, Tuesday morning Box Alarm 16-1 was sounded for a building fire at Bowers Lumber. Engine tanker 94 responded and assisted with water supply operations. Company 16 units arrived on scene with heavy fire showing, and quickly requested for a second alarm. The initial water supply was originally established through Hydrant system in town but had to switch over to a static water source due to depleting town water supply. Command established a fill site at New Midway Fire Station to fill tankers. Units remained on scene through out the morning.
